“I know you hear me, Lord
Your plans are for me
Goodness you have in store.” – Hillary Scott, “Thy Will”
This post is long overdue, but I’ve been dealing with a lot lately. Last week I was getting ready to start a new job, and this weekend my Grandma came back home from spending the summer with my Aunt and Uncle, and 2 days ago, we had to take her to the hospital. She was having some breathing problems and has kidney problems, but things are looking better now.
I’m a very stressed person if you can’t tell. Every little thing is a big deal for me. You may think I have it all together, but that is so not true. When I was at the hospital with my Grandma a couple of days ago, I had at least 2 panic attacks in the waiting room! I’m constantly anxious and worried about something. Now I know God doesn’t want me to worry, but it’s something that just comes naturally to me. I wish I knew the reason for my anxiety, but I don’t. There’s obviously a reason because He never does anything without a plan. God alone is the only one who can take my anxiety away, and it’s comforting to know He’s always with me.
“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”- Deuteronomy 31:6 (NIV)
The pink and black outfit was what I wore to my family reunion 2 Sundays ago. I love the feminine color, and the ruffle sleeves are so cute. I didn’t realize I wear those black and white earrings so much though! My second outfit was what I wore to lunch this Sunday, where we celebrated my parent’s second wedding anniversary! (They were married, got divorced, and then remarried 5 years later.) We went to Real Seafood Company, which is one of my favorite restaurants. The Parmesan Encrusted Sole tastes like a McDonald’s Cheeseburger! 😛 The restaurant is on the docks, and has a beautiful atmosphere for taking pictures. My ankle pants are from Marshalls, and I love them so much. They’re very comfy, and you can wear either a red, white, blue, or black shirt with them. I just got my black and white wedges on Friday at JCPenney. I saw them in the store about a month ago, but decided not to buy because they were a little too expensive. When I went back the other day, they were on the clearance rack and I couldn’t pass them up. My mom says the most risk I take in life is wearing high heels, and she’s absolutely right!
Sorry for the delay in posting, but I will try to get back on schedule. My blog is one month old today, so thank you to everyone who has checked it out! I hope you continue to like it. 🙂
