Don’t Worry, Be Happy

Hi guys!  Sorry for the delay once again.  Sometimes life gets in the way of what I had planned.  Stay tuned for a life update next time, as big changes are coming.

Another area in my life that God has been working on lately, is trying to teach me not to be in control.  I’m the biggest control freak.  I hate not knowing exactly what the plan is, and not having it go the way I want.  That’s something I definitely struggle with all the time.  It seems like every time I pray and ask God to help me be more flexible, He sends trials my way to test me, and see if I meant it.  Ultimately, I know that God is in control, so I should trust that He knows best.

“In their hearts humans plan their course,
but the Lord establishes their steps.” – Proverbs 16:9

I’m obviously very happy about losing 67 pounds!

If you can’t tell, I’m not afraid of color.  The brighter, the better is my motto.  I love bold pieces that make me stand out.  Two Sundays ago, I enjoyed the last warm weather of summer, and walked around a local outdoor mall.  This bridge setting was the perfect place to take pictures!  I got my dress on the clearance rack at T.J. Maxx a couple of weeks ago for only $15!  This might be my new favorite dress because blue, pink, and purple are my favorite colors, and I love how flattering it is.  I paired it with my pink heels from Target, pink necklace that I got at Clothes Mentor, and pink tassel earrings from Charming Charlie.  My shoes are so cute, but they’re not the most comfy.   (Of course I go for fashion over comfort most of the time. :P)  A tip of mine is to always have a backup pair of shoes either in your car, or in your purse.

This week, I challenge you to incorporate more color into your wardrobe.  It won’t disappoint.
